Client Processes Trello Template
Use this template each time a new client wants to work with you. I include suggestions for Pre-client, Intake, Service, and Post-service processes. Just copy the template to your Trello account, edit to fit your processes, and use every time a new client reaches out. Includes video tutorial on how to use the template.
You’ll need to have an email list to capture visitors on your website. Whether you offer services or sell products, your email list allows you to stay in touch with those who are interested in hearing from you (who may eventually become clients or customers). I’ve tried several different email service providers (I can recall 4 of them) but they weren’t anything like ConvertKit. ConvertKit is cheaper than Ontraport and has more power than MailChimp.
LastPass is a free app that allows you to gather and store passwords safely so your clients won’t have to worry about any security or confidentiality problems. They also have a phone app so you can access your login information on your phone and browser extensions for your computer.
ClickUp has quickly become a popular project management tool that a lot of VAs and other entrepreneurs are using. You’ll definitely want to check out their FREE forever plan, which will give you all the features you need to get started.

Organizing for Success – If you struggle with organizing and prioritizing your to-do list, this book will help! It uses “The Master List” concept to help you budget your time and energy by the day, week, and month. Although this book is based on work (aka job) goals, you can easily apply the techniques to your own business and client tasks. One thing I really love about this book is that it has helped me reduce bouncing from task to task based on what pops in my head or who have emailed me last. It gives me a plan for the day and I actually feel accomplished at the end of it!
