Working from home has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I’ve always been an independent person and feeling “free” is important to me.
Before starting my work as a VA, I coached aspiring entrepreneurs through the logistics of starting their first businesses. Before that, I had a bath and body and a jewelry shop.
Although I worked really hard at my businesses, I just didn’t make enough to justify quitting my day job and solely being an entrepreneur.
All this changed as soon as I became a VA.
I’m an entrepreneur at heart. My dreams of owning a business started a long, long time ago! From soap maker, to jewelry designer, to blogger, to coach and then Virtual Assistant, my journey has been colorful!
However, I struggled for many years to make enough money to quit my day job and work from home full-time.
Starting my Virtual Assistant business helped me fulfill my dreams of quitting my job and working from home. And yes, it’s everything I thought it would be!
It’s a dreary, rainy day and I’m grateful that I can cuddle up on the sofa with a blanket and my laptop and do my work from home. An iced coffee and my two fur-babies are by my side which makes it even better. Talk about bliss!
If you’re thinking about becoming a VA, you might be wondering what some of the pros and cons are of having a virtual assistant business. I’ve been a virtual assistant since 2014 so allow me to shed some light on what I think is good and bad about running a VA biz.
