Tools of the Trade
A checklist of basic tools to start a thriving virtual assistant business.

Start Your Virtual Assistant Business Ebook
Learn the basics of getting your virtual assistant business off the ground. This step-by-step 67 page eBook/ workbook will teach you how to start your own business as a Virtual Assistant. You’ll go through the process of mapping out your services, pricing your offerings, and registering your business so you can build your business quickly.

Client Contracts for Your Virtual Assistant Business
Cover your assets & create clear boundaries with this 4-pack of contract templates. Just copy and paste your desired template into a contract delivery system like Docracy, add your information, and send to your client. Easy!

You’ll need to have an email list to capture visitors on your website. Whether you offer services or sell products, your email list allows you to stay in touch with those who are interested in hearing from you (who may eventually become clients or customers). I’ve tried several different email service providers (I can recall 4 of them) but they weren’t anything like ConvertKit. ConvertKit is cheaper than Ontraport and has more power than Mailchip.

Pinfinite Growth
This is the first course I took to learn Pinterest marketing strategies and it’s one of the best. If you want to grow your traffic, snag more subscribers, and sell more products and services you have to take this course. It seriously made my business grow like crazy! Plus the course is just plain fun!!

Beta Lab
Beta testing my services before offering them to the public was one of the most important steps I took when I started my VA business to attract clients. Not only did it allow me to practice my new services, but it also helped spread the word about my new biz. I’m a big advocate for beta testing because once I took on a few practice clients, I had referrals pouring in.

Feel the Fear…and Do It Anyway: What I learned from this book is that ALL fears boil down to one thing – “I can’t handle it”. Knowing this has had a big impact on my life. There’s tons of brilliant advice in this book and I find myself referring to it often.

YOU Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life: This book is hilarious and full of nuggets of wisdom. It focuses on your desires and what holds you back from getting them. Simply changing our mindset can have a positive impact on our lives and profits! Good stuff!

Haute Chocolate
Finding the perfect photo for my website and pins used to be the biggest pain in the pants! Haute Chocolate has actually made it easy and fun to find photos because there’s so many beautiful images to choose from.
